Rennes is a very old city in Bretagne. The old part of town has a lot of 16th century buildings in it. I love the juxtaposition of very old and brand new. The wall Madonnas and radishes were interesting, too.
- Welcome pillow at the Hotel Sevigne
- So many 16th century buildings
- The Hermes windows in Rennes had lots of cut paper in the display
- Karel furniture
- The small chairs were in our hotel room
- Sardine can frame
- Madonna and child statues on the walls of several buildings
- The radishes on buildings were the idea of an artist making Rennes “radish” or, as pronounced in French, “radiant.”
- Where we had dinner
- Tomato and mozzarella salad
- Pork and mashed potatoes
- Lamb shank
- Leaving Rennes by car.
